Genotypic’s R&D team is focussed at maximizing the efficiency of genomic and bioinformatics technologies and create newer applications to meet unmet needs in biomedical research and agriculture. Our R&D department is recognized by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Government of India and consists of a team of highly talented and experienced scientists from diverse scientific domains. We have received grants from prestigious funding agencies in India and abroad. Genotypic is currently engaged in several in-house as well as collaborative projects with renowned scientists from premier academic organizations, research institutes, hospitals, biotech and pharma companies from India and rest of world. Being the pioneer of genomics in India with over two decades of experience, our research initiatives are aimed to significantly reduce costs for experiments, thereby allowing scientists with even limited funding to conduct cutting-edge research.
Genotypic invests fair number of resources in the research activities that will provide a radical understanding of the biology of living organisms from “prokaryotes to eukaryotes”. However, our research focus is centred on two major areas:
The Team is led by the Research Director, Dr Venkatesh Krishnamurthy. The CEO and COO constantly advise and oversee all the R&D projects. The team intensively interacts with microarray, NGS sequencing, data analysis and Bio IT groups.
Technology experts heading various domains and applications at Genotypic are also part of the team.
We are open to collaboration. For all collaboration related queries, please write to us at genomics@genotypic.co.in
