Dr. Raja Mugasimangalam, CEO of Genotypic Technology is delivering a talk on 'NGS approaches for non-model crops' (15-20 min) in the session I: Crop Improvement and Biotechnology on 17.12.2015 at TNAU, Coimbatore during 16-18 December 2015. Indian Society for Spices (ISS), ICAR-Indian Institute of Spices Research, Kozhikode, in collaboration with Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore and Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi is organizing a National Symposium on Spices and Aromatic Crops (SYMSAC VIII) during 16-18 December 2015 at TNAU, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The theme is ‘Towards 2050 - Strategies for sustainable spices production” and it is aimed to formulate strategies for sustainable spices production by giving thrust on conservation of genetic resources, crop improvement, secondary agriculture, bio risk management, mechanization, eco-spices etc. so as to realize the set goals.
